The BWDA Singles Championship was held at the Quinns Rocks Sports Club on the evening of Tuesday March 10th, an excellent turnout of 86 players representing all BWDA Clubs were present for this years event.
The Annual Plate Championship was also contested during the evening which was introduced in 2025.
Players losing their first round matches of the Singles Championship were entered into the Plate Championship draw for a best of 1 game match. The Plate Championship was established to allow players attending the event to at least have a couple of games which is in-line with the spirit of the BWDA.
Players 3DA (DartConnect average) was multiplied using the agreed formula to level the playing field across grades and make matches more evenly contested..
With the draw completed and the BWDA President setting the rules for the events, matches got underway at approx 7:20pm providing a darting hub of matches and competition. Some excellent scoring & matches throughout the evening with many highlights and with the extended darts community providing support throughout the event provided a great social night where players from all grades got to play against each other, chat and socialise.

Firstly a very BIG thank you to the BWDA Committee Maureen Porter, Steve Allan, Tim Anscombe & Paul McFarlane especially in running the evening. Thank you to Graeme Cole, Mick Proud & Rob Murdoch for providing the mobile boards which ensured matches were able to be streamlined across 12 boards.
