Paul McFarlane was nominated & seconded for Life Membership to the BWDA at the AGM held at the Marmion Angling & Aquatic Club (MAAC) on April 20th 2026.
Paul has been the Vice President of the Bluewater since 2020 and a General Committee member prior in 2019. Paul is an active member on the committee, he along with the support of the BWDA Committee have implemented multiple improvements making it the great association it is today..
The BWDA delegates & player’s in attendance at the AGM supported the nomination and thanked Paul for his contribution to the association.
Paul has also been instrumental behind the scenes ensuring the BWDA website (the go to place for all related darts information, fixtures, posts etc!) remains stable & current allowing all players and other interested parties to access and gain the required information about the participating Clubs and the Association. Paul has always maintained a focus in his Committee role’s that being continuing to drive the association, the website forward whilst supporting the players experience on match nights to the highest possible standards.
A vote was taken at the AGM with the majority of delegates supporting the Life Member Award.
Paul was also re-appointed for a further 12 months in the Vice President position.
